Chinese Betrothal Wedding Hampers Terms & Conditions

Delivery Terms

All deliveries are free within Metropolitan Areas.
We do not offer any deliveries service to South Lantau, Lamma Island, Cheung Chau, Peng Chau.
We deliver every day of the year except for Christmas Day, New Years Day and the first two days of Chinese New Year.
Customers can choose a specific delivery time between 9am and 7pm. Delivery times outside of these hours will result in an additional $500 fee.
Decorating service is available at an additional charge and must be pre-arranged.
Sibling red packets, or ‘lai see’ will be mailed to you within 5 working days of receiving your order.
Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hamper service is a door to door delivery service.
Observing Chinese pre-wedding customs and traditions, Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers cannot be delivered further than outside the door of the delivery address. Prior arrangements will be made with the groom to collect the hampers at the entrance of the building or outside the front door.

Self Pickup

Pick up service is available with prior appointment from our Tsuen Wan office; Suite 2403, 24/F, TWIC, 220 Texaco Road, Tsuen Wan from Monday to Sunday between 9:30am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm excluding public holidays.
Any and all changes to content or packaging requested at time of pickup will be refused.
Strictly self pickup only. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any loading assistance.

Typhoon and Severe Weather Arrangement

There will be no deliveries in the event of severe weather such as Typhoon 8 or Black rainstorm.
In case of an imminent typhoon warning of 8 or higher, you may choose to have the hampers delivered earlier.
Deliveries will resume as soon as typhoon signal warning 8 or above, or black rainstorm warning are lowered.
The Trunk Group Limited cannot be held responsible for Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers delivered outside of the pre-arranged time slot in the event of severe weather conditions.

Cancellation & Amendments

All cancellation and amendments must be received in writing by email.
Any amendments must be made in writing with a minimum of 30 days notice. We may refuse any amendments with less than 30 days notice. Amendments will not be accepted if requests are made with less than 48 hour notice.
Any amendments that result in the replacement of perishable items (ie. fresh fruit) will result in additional charge.
Cancellation with more than 30 days notice is fully refundable.
Cancellations less than 30 days, but more than 48 hours before delivery will be refunded in store credit less HK$500 administrative fee.
Cancellations less than 48 hours cannot be cancelled.
Customised or specific items purchased explicitly for the customer cannot be refunded regardless of cancellation date.
In case of any disputes, The Trunk Group Limited reserves the right of final decision.

Product Terms

Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers require a minimum order lead time of 14 business days.
Bridal cake brand may change subject to availability.
Customization, specific product requests or product upgrades must be requested at least one month before anticipated date of delivery. We will endeavour to accommodate reasonable requests and quotations will be provided separately.
It is recommended that customers follow the below product storage recommendations upon completion of ceremony.
Japanese sea cucumber should be refrigerated immediately once the Betrothal ceremony is complete.
Bird’s nest, dried prawns, dried oysters, cordyceps sinensis, fish maw, dried abalone, dried scallops, bamboo fungus, dried conch, red lotus, lily bulbs and pine tree leaves should be placed in the freezer immediately once the Betrothal ceremony is complete.
Monkey head mushrooms and sea cucumbers should be stored in a cool and dry place.
The contents of the golden coconut hampers cannot be altered and we are unable to accommodate requests for specific flavours for tea leaves. It is a natural occurrence for fresh produce such as nuts, walnuts and coconuts to attract insects.
Requests for specific brands cannot be guaranteed. The Trunk Group Limited reserves the right to refuse a customer's request to purchase products from a specific company or supplier. Products may be purchased separately at the customers own expense, and included in the hampers.
Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers include a pair of Dragon and Phoenix wax candles. LED candles can be purchased separately upon request and are subject to availability.
Wedding tea ceremony tea sets, kneeling cushions and red table cloths are not included in Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers.
Traditional Chinese bridal cakes are freshly made and contain no preservatives. They must be consumed within 10 days of delivery.
Dragon and Phoenix wedding pastries for the Bride’s hair combing ceremony should not be consumed.
Sibling red packets, or ‘lai see’ provided upon request only. Brother ‘lai see’ (for male relatives) and sister ‘lai see’ (for female relatives) will be provided according to customer requirements, up to a maximum of 10 of each.
Fruits will be provided according to seasonal availability. The Trunk Group Limited reserves the right to substitute fruits without prior notice.
The Trunk Group Limited reserved the right to amend the packaging of hampers and its contents without prior notice.
